At Western Carolina University, we know that a university isn't just a place, it's a community. A community that's built from and defined by the people who call Western Carolina home, first as students and then as alumni. Our Alumni Association fosters a lifelong connection to WCU through programs and services so that no matter where you are, you'll always have a home in Cullowhee.
Get Involved
The Western Carolina Alumni Association provides a variety of ways for alumni of all ages to participate in events, to reconnect with former classmates through clubs and societies, and to support the WCU student experience through volunteerism.
Purple & Gold Alumni Weekend
Purple and Gold Alumni Weekend is making a return in 2024 after a year-long pause. Join us for a vibrant mix of activities, games, live music, tours, and a unique opportunity to stay in WCU’s Greek Village. All alumni are invited to reconnect, relive memories, and enjoy the festivities.
G.O.L.D. Alumni
G.O.L.D. Alumni, comprising graduates from Western Carolina University within the last ten years, enjoy exclusive access to a range of resources provided by the WCU Alumni Association and its affiliated divisions.
